V-Ray Rendering Is Surprisingly Slow, Any Tricks to Improve on That?
A lot of friends asked me for this question, is there any tricks could help solve the problem of V-Ray rendering is so much slow, actually there are a few factors could cause such issues, and I am here to elaborate as below. 1. Modeling Factors More complex models (especially models with more tiny polys) will consume more rendering calculation time. The complexity of the model has a greater impact on rendering. This problem can be said to be "hard factors” that can not be changed. 2. Material Factors Reflections in V-Raymtl have an effect on rendering speed. Reflection in the VR textures has an effect on speed as well. 3. Lighting Factor The greater the intensity of lighting, the slower the speed is. It should be noted that this problem exists not only in the lighting intensity, but also in the intensity of the V-Ray rendering engine (secondary bounce) and in the (daylight) illumination intensity. The number of lights will also affect the rendering speed...
